HOW SOON IS NOW?: GETTING BACK TO – OR GETTING INTO – THE FUN OF FILM PHOTOGRAPHY WITH STEVEN NEREO

Ah Haa School For the Arts | 2PM-5PM | $125

Film photography is not dead – it’s actually alive and thriving. In the age of instant digital gratification, shooting film offers a completely different experience where the final result is more thoughtfully considered. Whether using a point-and-shoot camera or a fully manual SLR, this class will teach the essentials of camera use, film types, scanning an image, and making a print using a professional photo printer. All participants will develop an appreciation for this classic art form while learning how to combine film photography with digital technology. No previous experience is necessary. Please bring any film camera. If you don’t have one, the instructor can provide one. Offered as a 2-day class, with one session on January 13th and one on January 27th.
