Immerse yourself in the magical San Juans at High Camp Hut's Nature and Songwriting Workshop lead by talented songwriter/powerful performer/ expert guitarist, and Telluride's favorite "King of Telluride Blues and Brews festival", Anders Osborne, for four days and three nights.
Set high up in the mountains of Colorado, High Camp Hut is a two-story backcountry hut nestled into 320 acres of privately held land sitting in two million acres of San Juan National Forest. The hut sits at 11,000 feet above sea level in the San Juan National Forest, with views of Lizard Head, the Wilsons, and Sheep Mountain. Drive 15 miles from Telluride, CO, and access to the Hut is a short 2.5-mile hike, ski, jog, or bike from Hwy 145.
All genres of songwriters/poets and all levels are welcome, beginners to advanced. This is an immersive experience in our nature setting and community environment where you will learn about:

The healing qualities of songwriting and music – transforming energy of the past Feel free to bring an instrument of choice for our community campfire jam session where we will fuse a variety of music interests with nature.
Accommodations and food provided. Rooms will be double occupancy with bedding provided. They will try their best to accommodate friends who sign up together, stay in same room. They will also put each sex with one another. They have extremely clean composting outhouses and will have a hot tub and sauna where one can shower with a shower pump. This is not a typical shower but you will have privacy. Think of it as a camp shower.
