August 15 & 16: Visit with LTL Architect & HARC meeting

On August 15th and 16th David Lewis from LTL Architects as well as Nancy Hudson from Silman, (the Structural Engineer) came to Telluride for a whirlwind of meetings and important schmoozing.

David and Nancy got to tour the Warehouse on several occasions with Kate, checking on the progress, taking measurements, speaking with the stone masons, and getting a better understanding of the current status in person.

The morning of Wednesday, August 15th, Kate Jones held a Design Charrette with advisory members. David Lewis was able to visit with a hand picked advisory committee, present changes, and new ideas, and was able to obtain important feedback in order to move forward with the actual design.

One of the most important meetings was the presentation of the current design to HARC later Wednesday evening. With the help and support of Nancy Hudson, the meeting was a success. The Transfer Warehouse was 4th on the agenda.  The intent was to have a work session to make sure we are all on the same path.  The packet for that meeting can be found HERE.

Telluride Arts looks forward to the collaboration and continuation of the Transfer Warehouse in becoming an Arts Center in this beautiful town we call Telluride.
