Learn oil painting fundamentals – composition, color theory and mixing, brush techniques and more. Painting in oils has its own inherent characteristics and appeal. Because oil paints dry slowly and blend well, the artist has plenty of time to create subtle colors and make changes. It also allows one to build their painting gradually over time. This workshop provides an introduction to the medium of oil while also teaching fundamental painting skills. Learn the elements color theory, color mixing, creating depth and perspective, and brush technique.
