Prepare for adventure! Japan is on many people’s bucket list, and for good reason – It’s a beautiful, fun, and exciting place to travel. To have the best possible time abroad, nothing makes for better preparation than a little language study. Japanese is an elegant language that is fun to speak and a joy to use with new friends. Native Japanese speakers are often enthusiastic and patient speaking partners, so even a novice learner can get along and make a great impression. In this course, students will be introduced to the structure of Japanese and learn useful phrases and grammar through gameplay. Learners of beginner to intermediate levels will be able to make use of class materials to express themselves in basic conversation. Students will also leave the course with tools to help them revisit and expand their Japanese skills in the future.
