The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents Black Pistol Fire live in concert on Monday, February 12 at 8 p.m.

The Austin rock group Black Pistol Fire are back with their sixth full-length album, Look Alive, out now via Black Hill Records. Fueled by the first single and title track Look Alive, the new album debuted at #2 on the Alternative Albums chart in the US and at #5 on the Alternative Albums chart in Canada.

A far-reaching sonic landscape, venturing out beyond traditional rock touchstones, Look Alive, finds the acclaimed group refining their singular two-man approach, outfitting explosive, impassioned rock ‘n’ roll with an expansive, ethereal, and cinematic soundscape. For Look Alive, Black Pistol Fire - Kevin McKeown (guitarist/lead vocalist/songwriter) and Eric Owen (drums/bass synth) - teamed with co-producer and engineer Jacob Sciba (Gary Clark Jr., Gov't Mule, Warren Haynes) and mixer Vance Powell (The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Chris Stapleton). Look Alive delivers Black Pistol Fire’s renowned fusion of southern rock, blues, and garage punk through wildly diverse and standout songs - among them the raucous title track Look Alive, the psych-laced Level, an R&B-inflected Temper Temper and Never Enough.
