Ring in the New Year with Chef Brendan Kelley on Ah Haa's Launchpad!

 

Rising star Chef Brendan Kelley returns to his Telluride roots from Copenhagen’s Amass (“The most influential restaurant of the last decade," according to Noma), and two Michelin-starred Kadeau, NYC’s authentic French Bistro Libertine, and the infamous pizza mecca that kickstarted a movement, Roberta's NYC. Come spring 2024, Kelley's own highly anticipated restaurant, Confidant, will open in Brooklyn, serving seasonal, wood-fired New American food.

With Chef Brendan at the helm, Ah Haa will kick off New Year’s Eve with a celebratory Sky Deck viewing of Telluride’s annual Torchlight Parade. Guests will be treated to special drinks and delicious canapes as they watch the glowing spectacle. They will then be seated in the Launchpad for a stunning full-course dinner highlighting favorites of the Southwest, such as Rocky Mountain Lamb with mushroom, mint, and jus, complete with curated, paired wines. This is a very special opportunity to support Ah Haa School for the Arts while experiencing a Telluride-born chef’s brilliant cuisine. Limited to 32 people.

 

About Chef Brendan Kelley:

Originally from Telluride, Colorado, Chef Brendan Kelley first fell in love with cooking at home with his mother. Family dinners were a mainstay in his household and taught him to appreciate how food brings people together from a very young age. Inspired to do the same, Brendan struck off to learn from some of the best chefs and restaurants in the world, from Amass and Kadeau in Copenhagen to Aska, Roberta’s, and Libertine in New York City. Brendan is currently striking out with his best friend/business partner Dan Grossman to open up their own restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. The new restaurant “Confidant” will be a live-fire New American restaurant sourcing the highest quality products that New York has to offer. They have commissioned Grillworks to create a one-of-a-kind wood-fired grill as the beating heart of the restaurant. Confidant will have an ever-changing seasonal menu where every item will be graced by fire.
