The Telluride Plein Air Festival draws 20-25 nationally renowned artists from around the country to paint "en plein air" (in the outdoors) for a weekend of outdoor art. The festival wraps up with a 3-day sale where the artists display and sell their work.
Their scenes of Telluride and the surrounding areas simultaneously capture the mountain spirit of this special place and celebrate the art of painting in the outdoors.
