Smart by Nature

Smart by Nature has been a staple in the Telluride community for over 16 years, offering handcrafted soap, skincare, and candles made with organic ingredients whenever possible. Dedicated to sustainability, their products feature eco-friendly packaging and use only essential oils for fragrance. Their collection extends beyond soap to include lip balms, facial oils, shampoo and conditioner bars, bath bombs, scrubs, and even DIY facial mask kits.

The company’s origins are rooted in the serendipitous meeting of two women with a passion for nature’s healing properties. Denise Weaver took over Tomboy Soap Company from founder Jessica Newens, rebranding it as Smart by Nature.
