shhh...but YEA for the NEA!

We receive preliminary notice that we received at National Endowment for the Arts grant--the first one for Telluride Arts. YEA. It's only $10,000 but that's their typical award for a first time recipient. Our foot is in the door. Finally!

These grants are laborious to submit so it's exceptionally nice to have a return.

     Period of Performance:1/1/2016 to 12/1/2016

 Project Description:To support marketing and related costs of the Telluride Arts District, a Colorado certified Creative District. A coordinated marketing campaign will engage new audiences in the arts and culture of Telluride at no cost to artists and arts organizations within the district. The initiative will enhance the quality of life in the region by increasing public awareness of and access to the arts. The Telluride Arts District is a contiguous area that includes a mix of uses within boundaries that are typically small enough to be walkable and include a concentration of arts and cultural organizations and businesses, both nonprofit and for profit. It is one of seven state-identified Colorado creative districts.
