
The Telluride Art Walk is a lively monthly celebration of art, community, and creativity in downtown Telluride.

Join us on October 2, 2025 for the final Art Walk of the season. It will be an evening filled with inspiring exhibits, engaging receptions, and the chance to meet local and visiting artists.
From 5–8 pm, participating venues will open their doors, showcasing new collections and inviting art lovers to explore the vibrant gallery scene.
OCTOBER ART WALK

For the remainder of the season, Fringe Gallery will present a rotating selection of work from its roster of artists. The works on view will celebrate the changing colors of the season.

This October, Milk Moon is proud to present Living Narratives, a group show featuring work by Emily Palmquist, Adam Young, Meghan Purcell, and Melissa DiNino. Through a variety of media, the exhibition addresses themes of storytelling, personal narrative, and intimate connection with nature.

The Tellurado Studio proudly features the artwork Markus Pierson, who explores a mythic narrative with his Coyote Series, each piece symbolic of wanderlust and living beyond the boundaries. Elinoff & Co. has placed its entire collection of fine art and jewelry on sale as the gallery’s owner, after 34 years in business, prepares for retirement. The collection includes notable works by Impressionist Masters, including Renoir.

On October 2, 5 – 7 PM, Ah Haa School for the Arts joins with San Miguel Resource Center to host an interactive bracelet‑making event focused on raising awareness for domestic violence. Participants will create bead bracelets while learning how to recognize signs of abuse and resources for support. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please reach out to San Miguel Resource Center.
In the Daniel Tucker Gallery, explore Beneath Our Feet by UK artist Leah Higgins—a textile series inspired by Manchester’s industrial past. Using screen printing, quilting, and layered stitchwork, Higgins transforms fabric into striking abstract works that honor decay, renewal, and creative resilience.

Through a Different Lens celebrates the power of photography to slow time, magnify
the minute, remix the real, and immortalize the fleeting. Join Paul Pennington, Colby Smith, Kristen Hughes, and Peter Lundeen as they use the camera not just as a recording device, but as a tool for questioning assumptions and opening dialogue.
Through a Different Lens ultimately asks: What do we miss when we always look in the same direction? And what might we discover if we learn to see the world differently?

Hope is a Waking Dream – Part II opens in the Magazine Room of the Wilkinson Public Library with four captivating works by local artist Sergio Gonzalez. Inspired by the grace and freedom of dancers, this series explores hope as a movement that propels us forward, reminding us to look ahead with resilience and lightness.
Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, and a Telluride resident for 27 years, Sergio brings his lifelong passion for art and nature to each brushstroke, inviting visitors to reflect on the quiet ways hope takes shape in our everyday lives.
She invites visitors to pause, reflect, and recognize moments of resilience and transformation within their own lives.

Celebrate live poetry during Art Walk! On October 2, 6–7 pm with Telluride Arts with musician Kyle Harvey of Fruita, San Miguel County Poet Laureate Paulo Munguía of Montrose and Talking Gourds Director Art Goodtimes
This inspiring series, a collaboration between Talking Gourds, Telluride Institute and Telluride Arts, brings regional poets to share their words every first Thursday through October.

The first chapter of Hope is a Waking Dream opened with a solo show by local artist Karen Kokjer, on view now in the public stairwell of the Wilkinson Public Library. Selected to inaugurate this four-part exhibition series, Karen presents seven paintings that explore hope as a dream that happens while awake, manifested in blooming plants, starlight, and the transformation of flight.
She invites visitors to pause, reflect, and recognize moments of resilience and transformation within their own lives.

South Fir Street Gallery presents an elaborate art exhibition showcasing the creations of Judy Haas.
The display features a selection of vintage posters, including European posters, movie posters, music posters, and album covers each meticulously adorned with Austrian crystals, diamond dust and other various enhancements.
Within these posters lies the distinctive and captivating artistic vision of Judy Haas, with each piece being an original work of art.

Accompanied on adventures by their dog, the artist frames the region not merely as a silent backdrop, but as a living, evolving companion: from fog-draped forest mornings to quiet alpine light against rocky outcrops and golden aspen hills. Through intuitive, thoughtful photography often taken during early walks or long hikes, the work reflects moments of solitude, raw natural texture, and seasonal transformation. Explore mountain village and Public Art
Rinkevich Gallery, Mountain Village’s premier art gallery, showcases the abstract paintings of artist Margaret Rinkevich. The gallery also offers a distinctive selection of traditional tribal sculptures, small works on paper, collages, and canvas prints of the Telluride area.

Local artist Brandon Berkel has donated his artwork titled “Only We Know What It Could Have Been” to the Town of Mountain Village.
