Andrew Dines explores themes of progress and power through his paintings and multimedia works, focusing on landscapes and infrastructure in states of transformation. Using techniques like oxidation, pale washes, and textured surfaces, his work reflects the fragility and contradictions of human development, inviting contemplation of both decay and renewal.

Andrew earned an MFA from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a BA from Middlebury College. He has received awards such as the Rauschenberg Overseas Culture Exchange Emerging Artist Award and the Creative Spirit Award. His work is held in private and public collections and has been exhibited nationally. Andrew lives and works in southwest Colorado.
