Youth Mentoring at the Stronghouse Studios

Throughout the year, resident Stronghouse artists open their studios to students for one on one mentoring. The program invites students to explore the process of art making in a deeply creative and professional studio environment. Students are encouraged to learn a specific artistic discipline, learn about the profession of being an artist and exhibit and (if they choose) sell their work. Youth mentoring is a collaboration between One to One Mentoring, the Telluride School District and Telluride Arts. It is made possible by the generosity of the artists who donate their time and space, and a small grant from Just for Kids Foundation.
